Ryan Rains is a co-founder of Rains Advisory and Consulting Services. Ryan has worked for for-profits and nonprofits of different sizes across different industries including Chick-fil-A, banking, economic development, and currently in higher education where he serves as the Director of Entrepreneurship Co-Curricular Programming at the University of Kansas School of Business. Ryan coaches and trains in entrepreneurship and leadership, has experience building things inside organizations and across factions, and is a very good listener.

Ryan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Economics, a Master’s in Christian Education, and a Master’s in Business Administration.

Data Consultant & Advisor

Holly is an Assistant Professor of Data Analytics at Rockhurst University in Kansas City. She also teaches political science courses from time to time, and she conducts research on terrorism, political violence, and immigration using machine learning techniques and social network analysis.

Holly finished her PhD in Political Science with a focus on international relations and quantitative methods at the University of Kansas in 2022. She also has a BA and MA from the University of Oklahoma. In her free time, she enjoys reading epic novels, spending time outside with Ryan and their beagle, Wilson, and is a Pure Barre enthusiast.

Data Consultant & Advisor

Cora is data scientist focusing on corporate social responsibility, political economy, and public health. Cora's PhD (ABD) is in political science with a heavy focus on methods and data analytics. Cora has served as a Research Assistant at the University of California, a Research Scientist and Data Analyst for the US Dept. of Defense, a Teaching Assistant at ICPSR for time series analysis & maximum likelihood, and as an International Relations Political Science Instructor at Rockhurst University in Kansas City.

Cora holds a Bachelor's degree in Anthropology and Middle Eastern Studies as well as a Master's degree in Political Science and Government, and is finishing (ABD) her PhD in Political Science and Methodology.
